CONNECTED JOURNEYS

Different countries. One considered itinerary.

Coastal towns and capital cities can belong to the same trip. Build in time for the places you want to explore, as well as the drive between them.

Destination inspiration is only the starting point: every country on your route still needs to be included in the approved rental.

WHAT THE QUOTE SHOULD EXPLAIN

The details that matter before the border.

Cross-border approval is attached to a specific booking, vehicle group, origin, destination, and travel period.

01

Route permission

The booking identifies the approved countries and whether additional authorization is needed before collection.

02

Cross-border documents

Required vehicle papers, authorization letters, and any collection steps are listed with the route.

03

Price and protection

Mandatory route charges, protection conditions, excess, and deposit are shown before you continue.

04

Vehicle eligibility

Only car groups eligible for the selected route should appear in the result.

05

Return location

The selected return station, opening information, and one-way fee remain visible throughout checkout.

06

Support path

The final confirmation will include assistance details for issues during the approved journey.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Tell us the complete itinerary.

A cross-border booking is only useful when it matches the journey you actually intend to drive.

  • Select the real pick-up and final return locations
  • Include every country you plan to enter or transit
  • Carry the original documents listed in the confirmation
  • Follow local toll, vignette, parking, and road rules
  • Contact support before changing an approved route
GOOD TO KNOW

Cross-border questions

Can I add another country after collection?+

Contact support before changing the approved itinerary. A new country may require permission, documents, fees, or a different vehicle.

Does cross-border approval include a one-way return?+

Not automatically. Permission to travel and permission to return at another station are separate parts of the quote.

Are ferries and unpaved roads included?+

Restrictions depend on the vehicle and protection package. Check the booking-specific permitted-use conditions before driving.

What happens if a border is delayed?+

Allow time in the itinerary and use the assistance contact in the confirmation if the delay affects the agreed return.
